National League – Fined Pittsburgh outfielder John Milner an undisclosed amount for disrupting San Francisco pitcher Ed Halicki’s attempted perfect game of April 29th.

San Diego (NL) – Placed Rick Sweet, catcher, on the 30-day disabled list. Called up Bob Davis, catcher, from Hawaii of the Pacific Coast League.

National League – Fined the Expos and Cardinals a total of $52,000 for three bench-clearing brawls during the game of April 24th. Fined the City of Montreal an undisclosed amount for moving their home games from Jarry Park to Olympic Stadium without league consent.
Oakland (AL) – Placed Glenn Burke, outfielder, on the 30-day disabled list. Called up Bruce Robinson, catcher, from Vancouver of the Pacific Coast League.

Wichita (IL) – Reported that Mike Vail has refused his minor league assignment.
Texas (AL) – Placed Bert Campaneris, shortstop, on the 30-day disabled list. Called up Nelson Norman, shortstop, from Tucson of the Pacific Coast League.
