  1. The youngest player with an Inside-the-Parker is a 29 year old catcher, and the oldest is a 40 year old first baseman. How do we know which park these IPHRs were hit? I think a footrace between Yeager and McCovey would be fun to watch if you had your whole afternoon free!

    • Yeah, a foot race between any of those guys would be interesting, actually…all but two have an OBR rating lower than ‘B’, and nobody has an ‘A’…but I guess anyone can score when two outfielders collide on a Z-play result, and just lie there unconscious on the turf while the ball sits on the warning track untouched.

And we do know where these IPHRs were hit…I just didn’t want to spend extra time on the scoresheets compiling that info (trust me, I’d thought about it). I guess I could’ve just added an @ symbol to the pitcher’s team name…maybe that’ll be my NEXT project.
