The Player of the Month Award is presented to the NL and AL player judged to be the most valuable in their respective league for each month of the SP78 season, as chosen by representatives of the SP78 Department of Statistics in Evanston, Illinois. The award is an exact replica of the MVP plaque awarded at season’s end, only it is half the size of the original.
